Tivoli Enable Firewall Ports

Client Side

1. The following TSM client/server ports will need to be configured as follows through the client and any hardware firewalls.
   1. Server Port:         1500/tcp outbound
   2. Client Acceptor:     1552/tcp inbound/outbound
   3. Remote Client Agent: 1553/tcp inbound/outbound
   4. Web Client:          1581/tcp inbound/outbound
2. In the dsm.opt (Windows) dsm.sys (UNIX) add the following options.
   1. TCPPort   1500
   2. WEBport   1552 1553
   3. HTTPport  1581
3. With the configuration of SCHEDMODE Prompted the following should be added to the node's configuration on the TSM server.
   1. tsm: [tsm server name]> UPDate Node <node name> HLAddress=<client IP address> LLAddress=1581
