  1. Disable swap for the logical volume.
    # swapoff -v </dev/<volume group>/<swap logical volume>
  2. Resize the logical volume.
    # lvresize </dev/<volume group>/<swap logical volume> -L +<SIZE>G
  3. Format the new swap space.
    # mkswap </dev/<volume group>/<swap logical volume>
  4. Enable the swap space.
    # swapon -v </dev/<volume group>/<swap logical volume>
