Three immortal rulers stepped onto the vast nothingness that was once a great landscape. Aenarion, Cylor, and Orelo ruled harmoniously through out the universe controlling different terrains. In the blink of an eye, the harmony was destroyed by the war Cylor and Orelo waged on Aenarion. The two sent demons and beasts into war against him, destroying the world he created and loved. Jathael, Aenarion's most trusted advisor and general of his armies, took vengeance upon Cylor and Orelo and waged a counter-strike against the foes.
Many millennia passed and the fighting grew out of control. The three powers were still brawling and the war still being waged. The day had come for the peace and harmony to return to the universe. Aenarion joined Jathael and his army and set out to the final battle. The battle lasted almost 100 years, but the final blows came when the three immortals faced off.
Not known to both Cylor and Orelo, Aenarion possessed a magical dagger that was forged atop the mountains of Tytamus, the grand city of his birth. The dagger was known as the WynterFyre, and possessed the ability to kill an immortal and trap his soul in the Crystal of the Ages. With each stab hitting its mark, Cylor and Orelo.s life force was drawn into the WynterFyre and trapped inside the Crystal of the Ages.
When the final blow was struck against Orelo, his body lay lifeless at the feet of Aenarion as the last vestige of his power was drawn into the Crystal of the Ages...his body was no more. With a quick toss The WynterFyre now lay in hands of Jathael. A mighty stab to the heart of Cylor caused his body to convulse as Cylor's powers were also trapped now in The Crystal of the Ages. The war was over!
The lands and the planets in the universe were mostly destroyed. Aenarion and Jathael created an altar on one of the planets now known as the Outlands. They placed the Crystal of the Ages upon the altar and used the powers of Cylor and Orelo to rebuild the universe. As the powers from the crystal quickly poured into the universe, it shattered into three pieces and magically disappeared.
New lands where created: cities and towns filled with life and joy. However, lurking in the shadows of the universe, evil was about to spring into full force once again. The humans of the worlds brought it upon themselves to fight this great evil. The Champions of Justice and other clans were created to fight this new war. The time had come for a new age to begin.
Heroes from the world have banded together, praying to their gods. The prayers of the mortals of the realm have been answered. Iriella has bestowed special magical powers upon a select few mortals of the Outlands. Magical schools and temples have been constructed to honor the gods, and the new battle begins.
